His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman AlRajhi, met on Wednesday, 22 April 2026, with His Excellency the Minister of Migrant Workers Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines, Mr. Hans Leo Cacdac. The meeting was held at the Ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh, in the presence of His Excellency the Vice Minister of Labor, Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Abuthnain, along with a number of senior Ministry officials.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed a range of topics of mutual interest, most notably labor-related issues. Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation in ways that contribute to regulating the labor market and ensuring a safe and stable working environment.
Minister AlRajhi emphasized that the Ministry is continuously working to enhance efforts to protect workers’ rights in the Kingdom and to provide a safe and attractive working environment for all.
The two sides also reviewed developments related to several technical matters previously discussed during their meeting held on 27 January 2026, on the sidelines of the third edition of the International Labour Market Conference.
This meeting comes within the framework of strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries, supporting the achievement of shared objectives, particularly in the fields of labor and human resources development.
